The workshops involve a variety of experiential techniques to raise consciousness and connect to Spirit. They include drumming, dance, breathing/movement exercises, meditation, chanting and whirling. These techniques heighten concentration, free the body from tension, the mind from anxiety and stress, bring harmony, ecstasy, peace and contentment, and help one to release negative habits (by developing the intelligence of the heart).

Janet has been a student of Adnan Sarhan since the early 1980s. Her musical ability, singing and acting have greatly contributed to the unique creativity of Adnan’ Sufi work. She has helped keep the Sufi Foundation alive after Adnan’s passing and has many deep experiences that she brings to her Sufi classes in New York.
