Sufi Meditation Retreat in New Mexico, 2026

July 1st through August 31st. Sufi exercises, meditation retreat involving yoga like stretches, drumming, movement, chanting, dancing and whirling are used to develop the higher intelligence of the heart. The pure air of the mountains, the nature, the quiet, all combine with the workshops to create a very deep healing experience for those seeking a deep positive life change. The Sufi retreat center is a 40 acre forested land backing on a large national park with plenty of long walks with stunning sky and mountain views. Workshops begin July 1st through August 31st. Welcome to those who wish to come for shorter periods of time. 

How to get into the moment of the time and to extract the healing from the moment through action.

With Adnan’s passing, we intend to continue the tradition that he began.
The workshops will be lead by students of Adnan Sarhan who had studied with him for many years. All are welcome.

Summer Workshop

Dates: July 1 through August 31. There  will be two sessions per day, at 11:30 AM and 7 pm with Tuesdays off. Sessions will last for 2-3 hours and a light meal will be served afterwards.

Location: Sufi Foundation of America Retreat Center, Torreon, NM 87061

Cost: $1400 for two months, $800 for four weeks, $350 per week and  $50 per day.

The activities in camp include everyone participating in the running of camp by helping in the kitchen, the garden and keeping the shared spaces clean.

Wear comfortable clothing. Bring a towel or blanket to exercise on.
